We've assembled a team of designers, engineers, and eyewear veterans to wipe the drawing board clean and create frames that the 21st century deserves.

Gone are the days of bulky cases and glasses falling off your shirt collar. ROAV sunglasses folds up to fit in the skinniest of jeans and the smallest of purses.

Astonishingly Durable

Our patented micro hinges are press-formed into the stainless steel frame; unlike traditional eyewear hinges that are soldered or riveted. Fewer parts to break equals fewer broken glasses.

The frames are made of durable material that will last you a while. The frames are constructed of stainless steel, which means they are rust-free. Additionally, the frames are coated via a vapor deposition process. It makes the coating more corrosion and abrasion resistant.

No more sore noses and constant slippage, the nose and temple pads on the ROAV sunglasses are both silicone and wear comfortably. Our frames are laser cut from ultra-thin stainless steel and weigh less than 20 grams, so you may forget they're even on.

The glasses feel pretty flimsy when you first get your hands on them. They weigh less than 20 grams but that low weight don't make it fragile.

Polarized & Protective

Great frames deserve great lenses. With full protection from harmful UVA + UVB rays and glare-cutting polarization in every pair, those eyeballs of yours will be feeling comfy and cared for. And, if you need prescription sunglasses to avoid those clip-ons, our frames are “prescription-friendly”.
